General tools used in demining
Demining includes setting up camp, clearing ground, surveying and camp maintenance. These tasks involve a wide range of tools that do not need to be blast resistant, but should be a good quality. At Security Devices, we understand the convenience of being supplied from as few sources as possible. To make this possible, we offer a wide range of off-the-shelf ancillary tools that demining teams need. If you need it – we will try to source it for you.
Some typically requested tools are shown below, but we can supply most others (see the data sheet).

The picture shows: Measuring tapes (non-strech fibreglass tape); Pruners/secateurs (anvil or bypass –
and with a ratchet option); Shears with or without extending handles; Long handled loppers; Axes and hammers of all sizes; Wire cutters; Machetes; and Files and sharpening stones.
Small tools can be supplied in an appropriately sized toolbag when required.

When necessary, we will source tools and equipment to meet the requirements
of regular customers.
